Website Privacy Policy

 

Welcome to www.caecoach.org (the “Site”) a website managed by CAE Investment Advisory, LLC (“CAE Investment Advisory,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We understand that privacy online is important to users of our Site. This document (“Privacy Policy”) governs our privacy policies with respect to users (“you,” or “your”) use of our Site and the services and information offered through the Site (“Services”).

 

This Privacy Policy explains our policies and practices with respect to your personally identifiable information (“PII”) gathered through the Site including explanations of the types of PII we may collect about you, the purposes for collecting such information, the circumstances under which we may disclose such PII to third parties, the measures we take to secure the confidentiality of such PII, and other matters pertaining to the use of safeguarding of your PII.

You are not required to provide us with the PII requested, but in order to provide you with certain Services you request, it is necessary for us to obtain such PII. Without collecting such PII, we cannot inform you about certain Services we have available or that you may request.

 

This Privacy Policy may be amended from time to time without notice to you. As such, you should periodically review the Site for any updates to this Privacy Policy. Amendments to this Privacy Policy and/or the Services will be posted to the Site and will be effective when posted. Your continued use of the Site and/or the Services following the posting of any amendment to the Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such amendments.

What PII do we collect from you?

We may collect information including the following: (a) your name, address, phone number, and email address; (b) credit card information; (c) usernames and passwords you use on the Site; (d) communication preferences;  and (e) information about your internet service provider, type of web browser or operating system, IP address, viewed pages, time and duration of site visits, crash logs, and other information relating to Site usage.

How do we use PII shared with us?

We principally use PII for internal purposes and to provide Services to you. We do not sell or rent information about you. We will not disclose your PII to third parties without your consent, except as explained in this Privacy Policy. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we may share your PII without your consent in the following circumstances: We use PII to make periodic general announcements to users about CAE Investment Advisory and the Site; in connection with website maintenance, upgrades, new releases, or analytics data review or compilation; and to make appropriate service offerings. We may email you about research or purchase and selling opportunities on the Site or information related to the subject matter of the Site. We may also use PII to contact you in response to specific inquiries or to provide you with requested information.

CAE Investment Advisory gathers and uses other information when you visit the Site (including, but not limited to, IP addresses, internet service providers, and browser types) to analyze trends, administer the Site, track a user’s movement and use and gather broad demographic information.

Are cookies used on the Site?

Cookies are used for a variety of reasons. We use cookies to obtain information about the preferences of our users and the services they select. We also use cookies for security purposes to protect our users.

With whom may we share your PII?

We share information with our employees for our internal purposes. We may also share your PII with vendors who provide services to us with respect to the Site including web developers, web hosting companies, marketing agencies, internet service providers, and companies that provide analytic and other data concerning the Site and usage of the Site. We will also disclose PII if we deem that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process (such as a subpoena or court order), or enforceable request from a governmental or other regulatory authority; (b) enforce the Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations thereof; (c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues; or (d) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of CAE Investment Advisory, its users or the public, as required or permitted by law. Those with whom CAE Investment Advisory shares your PII have privacy policies that are likely different from this Privacy Policy, and so you should be aware that sharing and safeguarding of your PII by such third parties may be on different terms from those contained herein.

How is PII stored and secured?

We have adopted administrative, technical, and physical safeguards that are reasonably designed to protect PII from unauthorized disclosure. This includes limiting employee and third-party access to PII to the extent deemed appropriate by CAE Investment Advisory. Notwithstanding these measures, CAE Investment Advisory does not make any guarantee that your PII will be immune from malicious attack or compromise; as such, you should understand that your transmission of your PII is at your own risk. As such, we remind you to carefully protect the PII you share on the Site (including, without limitation, any usernames and passwords) to mitigate the risk that others will manipulate your accounts or assume your identity.

What choices are available to users regarding use and distribution of PII?

How can you correct any inaccuracies in any PII?

You may contact us to update PII about you or to correct any inaccuracies by emailing us at Kevin.Koharki@caecoach.org.

Can you delete or deactivate PII collected by the Site?

We provide users with a mechanism to delete/deactivate PII from the Site’s database by contacting CAE Investment Advisory. However, because of backups and records of deletions, it may be impossible to delete a Visitor’s entry without retaining some residual information. An individual who requests to have PII deactivated will have this information functionally deleted, and we will not use or transfer PII relating to that individual in any way moving forward. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we will retain any information of that individual if required to do so by applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
